Abandoned Dogs?

Sorry we haven't posted in ages >.<

Now I'm posting because of some dogs which may have been abandoned. They were outside our gate and, well, here's the story:

This morning, SilverDawn saw our neighbour talking to another man and our neighbour gave the two dogs that were with the man some dried food and water. 

5 hours later, the dogs are still here! Me and Dawn just went to see them (they were just outside our gate), and... O.O On one of the dog's collar (a black, male, elderly dog), there was the postcode. And the postcode was English, and it was pretty near where we use to live when we were in England! O.O

Meep! Weird, lol. Then we looked up the farm (it had the name of it on the dog's collar). There was a phone number, but it didn't work. So we called up a school, shop and post office. Mum apparently found the address of their neighbours at the post office, so she's going to call them in a moment.

Ok, now a man's turned up asking whether he can take the dogs or not. It's a kind of find-the-owner-or-die thing, I think...so we're going to keep them for a couple of days, until we find the owner! :D

We're still not sure if they're abandoned or lost, or what. We're still searching for the owners! :D I think we make pretty good detectives... XD I'll keep you posted.
